I've just stumbling about the game after trying random games into my library. I've been really suprised about your game as I thought i'll would not enjoy another RPG Maker game. Oh boy I was wrong, I had a really good time on it and finished it to the true end. Nice job !

Whoa, that's awesome to hear. Glad you played it to the end

I'm having trouble playing this game if anyone can help!

I installed and uninstalled and reinstalled... it will extract but it won't launch the game. I press launch and it just goes to played 1 sec ago... 2 sec ago.  I'm not a computer whiz so I'm not sure what do.

(I have the actual game too, not the demo)

I went in expecting a plotless roguelite and got a very cool vent art-y experience with some very fun "puzzles" to unlock the alternate enndings. Kudos for this one, it was a very cool experience. I look forward to your next project, and hope that describing yourself as "slaving" over it is an exaggeration; take care of yourself.

Glad you enjoyed it! I find that a lot of people expect a plotless roguelike. I definitely should have found a better way to convey that it does have a story haha.

Also, I didnt literally mean slaving away haha. My dev style is rather relaxed. I try to dev only in a good mood. The project itself is going very well, hoping to properly reveal it semi soon.

Thank you for playing and for the kind words. 👍

Has anyone run the game successfully with wine or proton?

Oh my I did NOT realize it was directing to demo by default. This issue should be fixed. I am sorry for any inconvenience.

If anyone got this in the  Racial Justice Bundle and only got the demo, that was not my intention haha. I did NOT see that little windows icon. If this caused you an issue, please feel free to let me know.

Its a mix of a short turnbased classic JRPG and Roguelike, in which every run might present you with different weapons, which will completely change your approach to combat. The weapon based combat system (Any weapon you find will give you access to special moves) is simple but carefully balanced so you will need to judge the situation for every combat turn, giving it enough tension to keep the player engaged. The game also offers a good amount of replayability by unlocking more secrets on sequential playthroughs, giving it a particular air of mystery that really does well to pique the players curiosity. Despite seeming rather simple at first, it actually is quite the unique little game that is unlike any other game I can think of. 3,5/5

The "Cope Island Adrift 1.6.exe" is not marked as windows compatible causing it to download the demo instead of the full game when downloading from the desktop app

When trying to install this from the App Client I'm just getting the Demo version seemingly =(

Bought from the Racial Justice bundle.

Did it end up being the demo? It's in my download queue atm

Looks like the loose .exe for the proper game can be downloaded directly from the game's page in a browser or from the bundle link though. Just not the client

Excellent! I didn't think to look there. Thanks

Yeah it's because the full game wasn't marked compatible with anything so the desktop app won't allow you to download it

This was really cool. Just managed to get all the different paths done, now to find all the forbidden weapons. Love seeing the score system, miss those plus with the randomised weapon loadout and the unlockable paths this has lots of replay value.

Thanks for uploading the game here too.
